A black box is housing a clockwork. It is surrounded by sixty four jars containing components of an overgrown garden that once belonged to my grandparents. Preserved in paraffin, these components get ‘reactivated’ at times. The clockwork directs electrical currents and switches on and off lightbulbs installed in the jars. As the paraffin melts down, the light unveils berries and herbs, sticks and cones and dried memories for a while.
