FLYING CARPETS | kinetic sculptures | 2024
Flying Carpets is a series of three kinetic objects that move transparent Kodak films across polished aluminum plates. Each film carries an image of a room once inhabited by the artist. The original image is transformed through repeated processes of duplication and layering, creating a new image in which multiple versions of the room are superimposed.
