Garden | preservation system | 2014
A black box is housing a clockwork. It is surrounded by sixty four jars containing components of an overgrown garden which happened to be the garden of my childhood.
Preserved
and soaked in parafine, these components get vitalized at times.
The clockwork directs electrical currents and therefore
switches on and off lightbulbs installed in the jars.
As
the parafine melts down, the light unveils berries and herbs,
sticks and cones and dried memories for a while.
